29.10.2011. Bodony - Hunting Aptitude Test (VAV)
Eszter-Házi Drótos Álmos aka "Szikra" passed the exam succesfully!
Szikra is "officially" a huntingdog from now, I'm very proud of him!
Congratulation to his owners, Bea and Viktor and I wish you more successes and of course great hunts with Szikra!

25.10.2011. Puppies were born!
The Eszter-Házi Drótos "B" litter was born today!
All of the puppies and Tücsi are well.

02.10.2011. Martonfa - VAV (Hunting Aptitude Test)
One of our friends was started to train her dog for the blood-track VAV and I thought we will go too.
Tücsi was at half-time of her pregnancy but she finished the test with maximum scores!

We have visited our vet to have a look into Tücsi :)
The result was great, Tücsi is pregnant, we expect the puppies at the end of October! I can't wait! :)

30.07.2011. Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Speciality - Sárvár
This was a very successfull day for us. We entered Pinka to the HWV Speciality and the judge decided for Pinka so she became the (after her classwinner success) Best Of Breed!
The judge noticed her great movement, I was very happy and proud!

09.07.2011. Parádfürdő - Heves County's Hunting-days
On this very hot day we took part at the Heves County's Hunting-day but of course we were not alone!
There were lots of enquirers again, they asked a lot about our dogs' works, about training, etc.

I entered only my old boy Dennis to our national Clubshow in veteran class. He is already 11 years old but still wanted to.... make love.... with all the wire girls today :))
His movement is still fantastic, the judge liked him very much!

22.05.2011. CACIB Subotica - Tompa (SRB)
We entered Pinka and Csővárberki Duhaj to this serbian show. It was a great pleasure to take part, the place was beautifull (it was the kelebian horse complex) and the organization was smooth.
That was a nice day and I think we will return...

03.04.2011. Dunavarsány - Blood Tracking competition (NVCSV)
This competition is about a 800-1000 meters long bloodtrack which contains 2 turns on it and the track is more than 20 hours old with one night when the wilds can cross it.
I entered Tücsi (who was the only wirehaired vizsla) to this competition where were another 18 dogs entered (bloodhounds, laikas, teckels, terriers, spaniels, vizslas). On Saturday the weather suddenly turned to hot so I was affraid of the Sunday and I know Tücsi doesn't really like the hot wheather. But we were lucky, got the 2nd number so we could start our work earlier, in cooler temperature. I started trying to trust in the dog since 3 years ago, and to learn that dogs have good nose, not me, so I HAVE TO trust in theirs. At the last trainings it was so good, but now I don't really know why, I didn't trust in Tücsi again... and it was a huge mistake from me. This kind of exercise is new for both of me and Tücsi so I don't know all of her reactions for some kind of situations... I know this is not a good excuse...
So! Finally judges said that all of the minus points goes to me, not to Tücsi, she was great and showed a nice work and if I could let her work alone they couldn't find any problem in our work. And they said it again and again... (maybe just to feel better..)

26.02.2011. The very last...
We were invited to the very last pheasant shooting in this season which was rather a "come and spend a day together". It was a GREAT day with friends, in cheer, and with lots of fun and laughing :) The weather was sunny so it celebrated with us too.
Oh, yes...
We are going from a place to another place, and to another, to another, to ano....
He is one of the survivors of this season!

20.02.2011. The last hunt...
Unfortunately, this season ended today but we spent this day in cheer again.
In this season our
dogs did their bests, the "older" ones could show again their abilities and the younger ones became much better from time to time, got lots of experiences and became real gundogs.
We would like to thank to everybody who ensured us this possibility and I hope we could help them to have a succesfull season in 2010/2011.
Only a few months left and we can start it again... :)
Of course we always have time to clown... Today was the Champion Show in Székesfehérvár. We celebrated our champion dogs too but we did it in Nógrádmegyer at a hunt (because we wanted the dogs enjoy it too, and this is still about the dogs - for us of course)... and the dogs prefered this way too.

19.02.2011. Shooting in Nógrádmegyer
This was one of the least hunts in this season. This time the weather was not as good as last time but instead of this we enjoyed the hunt very much. The cheer stay in bad weather too :)

12-13.02.2011. Shooting in Nógrádmegyer
We spent the whole weekend in Nógrádmegyer again in cheer and in a beautiful weather!
Unfortunately on Saturday we didn't take the camera with us and shot just a few photos on Sunday, we rather enjoyed our dogs' work in the sunshine.
Tücsi found and pointed lots of birds on areas which were searched through before, and there was a wounded bird beside we all walked away, but the bird had no chance because finally Tücsi walked there too...
06.02.2011. Hunt in Nógrádmegyer
There wasn't any lost birds today, Tücsi did a good job again. She worked well and assiduously all along.
Pinka went mad a little at the end, but there were huge amount of pheasants at the last part of the hunt and she is still a young girl... but I'm very happy because she loves to work, she is ardent and always wants to work!
She reminds me of somebody... :)

05.02.2011. Hunt in Nógrádmegyer
Tücsi and Pinka took part on this hunt from our kennel . Both of them did a good job, Pinka is always better from time to time, she likes to work alone much more than at the beginning of the hunting season. She likes to search and there were more wounded pheasants today too we thought they've lost but Pinka found and retrieved it.
Tücsi is an accomplished hunting dog, the guests liked her work and liked that she is always under control.
The first pheasant is for Ferike, who is the local dog and the local philanderer :)

30.11.2011. Hunt in Nógrádmegyer
Both of my girls took part at the hunt today. After yesterday's hunt Tücsi worked well today too.
Pinka is always better and better, she found more wounded pheasants today what we thought they've lost. I was very happy!

29.01.2011. Hunt in Nógrádmegyer
Today I took part with only Tücsi at this hunt. She prefers this kind of hunts, the little ones then the hunts where are huge amount of birds and she has to only retrieve the pheasants.
It was a succesfull day with 66 pheasants, but at the end of the hunt somebody screamed "fox". Some minutes later the fox jumped out, the hunter shot and after all Tücsi brought it back.

23.11.2011. Hunt in Nógrádmegyer
Today came back the same team at the hunt who shot huge amount of pheasants not so long ago, and now took 2 other hunters with them. Today we were much more tired then before because the hunt on saturday and because my 38-39 celsius fever...

Today Tücsi and Pinka took part on the hunt to help the hungarian guests.

16.01.2011. Hunt in Nógrádmegyer
We took part today at this hunt with Tücsi and Pinka.
Tücsi was amazing! All of the wounded birds and all of the birds we thought they've lost were found, Tücsi disappeared for some minutes again but I could see that she came back from the other side of the mountains with birds which were injured on their legs so they could fly away...
After it I could show some places to Tücsi where birds fell down (while she was retrieving another bird), she started to track and finally all of the birds were found.
That was an amazing day, I'm sooo proud of Tücsi!
Pinka was very good too, she found some lost and wounded birds, she started to work alone without any commands, and she started to trust in her nose.

08.01.2011. Hunt in Nógrádmegyer
Today we took part at this hunt with Tücsi and Pinka.
There were 5-10 minutes when Tucsi disappeared, but after it she came back with wounded birds. I was very proud of her!
Pinka is still a young little girl but she learns fast and she is always better from time to time.
