19.12.2010. Nagyfüged - Hunting Aptitude Test (VAV)

Today pinka passed the Hunting Aptitude Test (VAV) succesfully.

17.12.2010. Hunt in Nógrádmegyer

Today Tücsi and another wire bitch Sissi were the dog-help for the hunters next to their own dog and the local dog "Ferike". This was the coldest hunt we've ever had.

We took part on this hunt with our two girls, Tücsi and Pinka. This is Tücsi's 4th hunting season in her life but Pinka is just debuting now. She is better and better from hunt to hunt, now she believes her nose and likes more and more the bushes. I'm very proud of her.

28.11.2010. Nógrádmegyer - hunt in the first snow

At the end of this day we had a jay next to the pheasants too. I took part with Tucsi on this hunt. It was a great day and finally our boots were not full in mud but in snow.

Today we had a great hunt, there were a lot of work for all of our dogs.
We finished this hunt in the gloaming and while we stood to give respect for the pheasants Tucsi felt asleep.

Exams, shows and competitions finished for us for this year. So we can start to concentrate to the hunts. Not only we but also the dogs were waiting for this time!

08-10.10.2010. CACIT Hortobagy Cup

Hortobagy again...
3 years ago Tucsi passed her Basic Exam on the Hortobagy.
2 years ago was our first competition on the Hortobagy.
Last year Tucsi was in her season at this time.

So I was really waiting for this year's Hortobagy Cup.
I was in a fever...
Tucsi was great at all of the exercises.
I scanned in the judging paper, I think it speaks for itself.
I think I have to consider that there might will be always something which causes a bad feeling for me.
I didn't understand lots of the things but now I already don't want to understand them.
Instead of this I'm happy for our result, but the bad feeling will stay...
So this is the Hortobagy for me. However the Hortobagy will be always in my heart. Of course, not the competition but this part of Hungary...which is so....HUNGARIAN.

Tücsi: 250,5 points, II. price, 6th place.

Pinka passed her Basic Test (AV) succesfully on the Hortobagy with MAXIMUM points at the age 9 months!
She was great, I saw her best running ever! Judges liked her very much!
Dori and Pinka were both great, I'm very proud of them!

Pinka: AV 116 points (max.), "excellent".

25.09.2010. Ózd - Policemen's and Hunters' meeting

Of course, another festival...
After our show I tried to remember which was the last time when I could see lots of drunk policemen and hunters on the same place like here...

15.08.2010. Tahitótfalu and Dobogókő

Festival for hungarian breeds.
Festival, again...
Hungarian festival! Much better! Not only dogs but also lots of hungarian products, handicrafts, foods, drinks, etc. Mmm, that was soo good :)
We had to be at 2 places in the same time. This was not too easy..
BUT: Our dogs do their best again. There were lots of hobby vizslas and after our show we let the new vizsla owners to try their dogs with real games too. That was funny on the owners' side but most of the dogs were very good!

08.08.2010. Onga - Training Day held by the DMVSZ (MEOE Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Association)

We were there with Tucsi and Pinka.
It was not a test or a competiton but I felt very proud when people congratulated to Tucsi's work with the duck.

07.08.2010. Varsány - Nograd County's Hunting Day

I think I can say that to take part on at least 1 huntingday per month is already regular.
At this time we were in Varsany and finally we could see some friends because we spend most of our times in the pheasant season in this county.
The place were not perfect but there were lots of inquirers so we could show to lots of people our vizsla's work.

01.08.2010. National Huntingdog Show + Jubilee Hungarian Vizsla Show

This 2 shows were very succesfull for us, more than I hoped because the amount of the entries.

Our results:

Jubilee Hungarian Vizsla Show:
Tücsi: CAC (champion class), BOB, Res. Super Best In Show
Áfonya: Very promising 1st.

Kaposvár Huntingdog Show:
Tücsi: CAC (champion class), BOB, Most Beautiful Hungarian Breed 2nd, Res. Best Of Group
Áfonya: Very promising 1st, Res. Puppy Best In Show
Dalton: CAC (working class)

Judge: Mr. Eppel János (H)

With these results Tücsi accomplished all of the terms for the Hungarian Grand Champion (HGCH) title!

31.07.2010. Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Section's Speciality Show - Szántódpuszta

This was a good day. All good things at one place: friends, good weather, tasty lunch and cheer.
The day began with a Saint Hubert high mass, the cleric blest our huntingdogs.
There were 21 wires at the show. I entered only Tücsi and there was one of our puppies, Áfonya too.
Tücsi got Res. CAC in champion class and Áfonya got the very promising title in puppy class (judge: Mr. Czekes Lorand).
After the show we hold an exhibition about our vizsla's works, and that was special too becaouse there were only wires!
We finished the day with a very tasty wild boar goulash.

24.07.2010. Hunting Day, Galyatető + CAC Night Dog Show, Debrecen

We were invited to a hunting day again, Kati (Tucsi's breeder), Zoli (who has GWPs) and myself showed our dogs' work in Galyatető in the morning.
Of course our "serious" huntingdogs did their best again with some fun so people liked them very much.
In the evening were the Night Dog Show in Debrecen. I was the handler for Tücsi's daughter, Áfonya and for a shorthaired vizsla, Dalton (Csővárberki Újonc) too, who had his first show in Debrecen. Dalton is a great working dog with lots of good results, but his owner is a hunter who doesn't really interested in the shows so he asked me to help him (and as it seems it was a great first success for Dalton).

Our Results:

Áfonya: Promising (puppy class)
Dalton: CAC, BOB (from the working class)

Finally the official document has arrived so Tücsi is now Hungarian Champion (HCH)!

24.05.2010. MEOE Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Section's CLUBSHOW in Komárom

It was a great success for our kennel!
Eszter-Házi Drótos Apacs "Dali", Áfonya, and their mum Tucsi were entered to the show from ours.

Apacs got Very Promising 2nd result.
Áfonya won the bitches' baby class so she became Baby Clubwinner, and she proved the best baby so she got the "Best Baby" title too.
I'm very proud of both of these two puppies, the judge liked Dali's colour and he said that Áfonya will have a great future with nice carrier.
I entered Tucsi to champion class. She won it and proved the best bitch in front of the other adult classwinner bitches, so she got the CLUBWINNER title.
After that in front of the Junior, Adult and Senior Clubwinners Tücsi became the BEST OF BREED of the HWV Sections's Clubshow in 2010 from 22 dogs.

01-02.05.2010. Cserkeszőlő - CACT Field Trial

I didn't enter for the trial, but I was at the competiton as an "official" photographer.
It was a great pleasure that two of our puppies were there too, Álmos "Szikra" and Apacs "Dali" and their familiy came to see the competiton and took part at the training day on Saturday.
Unfortunately Szikra and his familiy had to go home before the training day started so I couldn't take any photo about him.

Our Angyal "Bodza" sent us photos about herself too. It seems that everybody visited the beach at the weekend :)

27.04.2010. Photos and news about the puppies

Puppies are well at their new homes, and owners are happy with them, can we ask for more?
Of course, only my soul needs more and more photos about the puppies, and I'm happy to see that they are at really good homes, how are they growing, and nice to see that they are very clever and talented puppies.

With this result Tücsi accomplished all of the terms for the Hungarian Champion (HCH) title.

9th March 2010. - All of the pups from the litter "A" have a good new home!

The official document arrived from the FCI so Tücsi is now International Champion! (ICH)

2010. Február 8. Six weeks old puppies...

Puppies are already 6 weeks old, my room is much more noisy, and I haven't slept since 2 months...
Finally we decided which girl will be the new member of our team: she will be Ánizs "Pinka", who had the yellow collar before.
